Diet Culture Myths

The diet culture we live in makes you think that you need to look a certain way and be a certain weight to be worthy. And to get to that weight, you need to restrict your food and listen to the rules of the diet to get results. 

It's a lie.

You’ve lost the trust in yourself to know when, what and how much to eat for a few simple reasons. The diets want you to think that:

MYTH #1

You need willpower in order to get a body you love and respect.

Wrong! Living in a body you love and respect has nothing to do with willpower but more about healing your relationship with yourself (and food.)

MYTH #2

The best way to eat for “good health” is to follow a set of rules that tell you what foods are “healthy” for you and which are not.

Absolutely not! While there is a time and place for learning about nutrition, there are no hard and fast rules that you “need” to follow. Learning to be an Intuitive Eater means your body will guide you to the choices that help it feel its best.

Have Questions? We Have Answers.

How is this program different from other diet programs?

Easy. This is NOT A DIET. I don’t tell you what to eat, when to eat or how much to eat. This is a food behavior therapy program. We delve into your mindset and your physiology and how it relates to your eating. Nutrition and exercise comes later on in the program.

If I were to start this program telling you what to eat, how much to eat and when to eat, those would be more diet rules. It would backfire! You’d follow the rules for a short time, just like you would on all the other diets you followed, and then at some point, there would be some trigger (probably emotional) and you’d “break the rules”.

So, as you can see, this is WAY different than all those other diet programs.

I’m so tired of false promises, will this really work?

No false promises here. In fact, the only promise I can make you is that if you don’t finally shift your mindset and learn to commit to a diet-free way of life, you will likely find yourself on endless diets constantly “evaluating” your next step.

The reason my approach works is because I don’t demonize foods and give you a list of “good” and “bad” foods. Instead, I teach you how to tune into your body to hear the messages your inner wisdom is giving you about the foods you eat. I’m teaching you to trust these messages and the signals of your body.

You are in the driver’s seat!

Will I gain a lot of weight while learning to become an Intuitive Eater?

WholeBody Trust™ is a weight neutral program. This means that we don’t focus on weight loss. When you learn to LISTEN to and TRUST your body, your body will naturally land where it feels best, based on your genetic blueprint. If you’ve come into this process with a history of restriction and intentional weight suppression, you might gain weight to get to your natural set point. If you come from a restrict- binge cycle where you are frequently bingeing as a result of restriction, you might lose weight. And for others, their weight is maintained.

Your body gets to decide what it will do!

But what I can share is that the weight loss/gain cycle will stop! 

What happens after I regain the trust in myself and food?

You no longer feel controlled by food.

You can eat what you want without feeling guilty or going on a “binge.”

You feel good about yourself and enjoy spending time with others without obsessing about food.

You have more energy to see friends and enjoy life. You might even take up a new hobby!.

When does WholeBody Trust™ start and what is the schedule?

The program begins on Monday, February 15th with our Opening Ceremonies and your first module release. Then on Wednesday February 17th we will have our first Group Coaching Call.

Every Monday a new module will be released. You’ll have two days to work your way through the module and then we will meet for our group coaching calls each Wednesday. Don’t worry if you don’t get through the module in two days. You have lifetime access and can go at your own pace. You will still get a lot out of our group calls.

If you can’t make a group call live, you can submit your question in advance, and I will answer it on the call. Replays of all calls go out via email within 24 hours and are housed in the membership area as well.

There are also Implementation Weeks scattered through the program which is intended for you to catch up and implement what you’ve learned.

I honestly don’t know when I will be opening the doors again.
